  Goheen Design & Build renovated my basement and it was a great experience. Matthew is an excellent contractor who communicates with his customers really well. The job was done on time, on budget and, most importantly, to a very high standard. I couldn't be happier with the outcome.   We have used Matt's company many times over the last 3 years, from larger projects, to very small jobs. From 2000 square ft of decking that had to be replaced, fencing, renovating a bathroom, tiling, drywalling, hanging garage doors, painting. He is a general contractor that will get the job done. He does not mind doing those small jobs that other contractors seem to have no time for. I have recomended him to several of my clients who have been equally satisfied and they also would recomend his work.

  We contracted Goheen Design & Build to update our kitchen - refinishing the cupboards, installing a new countertop (concrete) and backsplash, installing an exhaust fan over the stove, and installing new lighting. Although we ran into a few issues with the countertop finish, Matthew and Brandon were diligent in making sure the job was completed to our satisfaction. They were professional, courteous, responsive, and hard-working. I highly recommend Goheen Design & Build for any home renovation project.

  Matthew and his helpers have done a number of jobs for us, big and small, and we have been delighted with the results. Matthew is knowledgeable, hard-working, friendly and polite and his prices are highly competitive. While our major renovation was under way, he did everything possible to minimize the disruption to the day-to-day routine, always cleaning up carefully at the end of the day (my wife said he often left the house cleaner than he found it!)
