  I asked them to renew it right away and the girl lied to me and said I’d have to come in and sign papers. I went to another branch, told them what happened, didn’t have to sign a single paper at all, and the other branch says they give courtesy calls before canceling their customer’s policies.

  They just canceled my policy without telling me. When I called about it they said it was my problem, they have 2,000 customers and I don’t matter because I’m only one customer so they don’t bother to call people before cancelling their policies.

  If you want to use The Co-operators for insurance go to any other branch but this one.

  Horrible customer service. They emailed me about changing my auto insurance address but never bothered to let me know it was expiring soon. I called them to change my address after I sold my house and cancel that house insurance policy so they knew I didn’t live where they sent my renewal papers but didn’t bother to tell me on the phone or by email.
