  I was in Belleville for a wedding and went to the Quinte mall in search of a haircut. I was greeted by an older woman at Mondo Lido who was able to cut my hair right away. I asked the woman for the shortest cut possible - I keep my head bald and just needed it touched up before the wedding ceremony. The woman seemed very unenthusiastic as she pulled out her trimmer and went to work. She was clearly in a rush. It felt like she was dragging a cheese grater over my head and I sat there sweating with discomfort through the the 5-minute episode. I was surprised when the woman said she was done. Most stylists take about 20 minutes because they’ll clean up the lines with a straight blade or care for my skin, but I wasn’t afforded such luxuries here. I paid the full $22.00+ fee and went home to discover the woman had missed a few spots on the top of my head. I don’t understand how she failed such a simple request... What a rip-off!!! This was the worst “hair cut” I’ve ever experienced.

  I went in just to get a trim. My hair isnt very long, maybe to my shoulders. I read the sign and it said "woman cuts starting at $28. So i thought i woukd be paying maybe $35 plus tax witch i was okay with. I sat in the chair for about 15 minutes. When i got to the cash the older lady who is the owner walked over to the lady who did my hair and told her a completly differebt price. Her reason is i have very long hair. I ended up having to pay $56.50. To me that is a ripe off seeing how there wasnt very much hair on the floor when i left. I have got a lot more done for alot less. I will never be going back and i have told friends and family to stay away.

  My hair was supposed to be RED and black but the where the red was supposed to be is PINK and there are bits of brown still in the black, I paid $200 for them to mess it up . There was dye halfway down my back and there was dye on my face I've had my hair dyed a couple times and non were as bad as this and this was one of my first times getting my hair professionally done. I don't even believe this place deserves 1 star.

  Thought I'd get a haircut after finishing up my mall shopping. Sat down just as the guy ahead of me was standing up to get his hair cut. He sat down and was off the chair in about 8 minutes, one of the fastest haircuts I'd ever seen! The owner, on older grey haired lady with a thick accent, looked at me after finishing and told me to wait. I watched her wash her hands, then proceed to play on an iPad at the back of the salon for 5 mins... I thought it was odd but gave her the benefit of the doubt. Then, she walked over to a girl who was getting her hair done at the back. I know this girl worked there, as she had answered the phone during the haircut before mine. There, the owner, the employee and the other stylist stood, chit chatting as I sat in wait. I looked over and saw the workstation the owner had used to cut the first guys hair was still a mess. His hair, broom bib and scissors strewn about. After waiting about 15 minutes total, I decided this wasn't the place to have my locs trimmed.

  Similar experience to others. The older woman who cut my hair finished in around 3 minutes. After this short experience, I was left with the worst haircut I have ever received. I'm certain that I could have cut my own hair in the mirror with a better result. Do Not Go Here!
